Facilities managers walk through plant rooms, loading bays, kitchens and office corridors, often in the same morning. Our safety shoes for facilities managers are built to protect your feet whatever the surface list, with slip-resistant outsoles, composite toe protection across most styles, waterproof options and all-day cushioning for the distance you cover between jobs.
Safety Shoes for Facilities Managers Across Commercial and Industrial Sites
A facilities manager can find themselves in plant rooms, loading bays, kitchens, rooftops and office corridors, all in the same morning. And their footwear has to handle the highest-risk surface.
Most styles in this collection are certified to EN ISO 20345, the European standard for safety footwear, with composite toe protection and puncture-resistant midsoles available across a number of options. For sites where ice or extreme cold is a factor, the Delvin boot offers cold insulation and grip on frozen surfaces. Select styles include ESD protection for work around sensitive electronic equipment. TripGuard features across several styles, reducing the risk of the shoe catching when stepping between different floor surfaces.
The range covers safety trainers, mid-cut boots and wellington boots, with waterproof and water-resistant options throughout. Lighter occupational styles are also available for days when the schedule stays closer to the office. Several styles are developed in partnership with PUMA Safety, combining certified protection with an athletic build.

What safety certification do facilities managers typically need?
It depends on the sites you manage. For buildings with loading bays, plant rooms or industrial areas, EN ISO 20345-certified footwear with composite toe protection is worth considering as a baseline. If your role covers only office buildings and lighter commercial spaces, EN ISO 20347 occupational footwear may be sufficient. The best approach is to match your footwear to the highest-risk environment you're likely to enter on any given day.
Do I need different shoes for different parts of the building?
Not necessarily. Most styles in this collection are certified to EN ISO 20345, which covers the hazards found in the majority of commercial and industrial environments. If your role takes you across loading bays, kitchens, plant rooms and office corridors in the same shift, a single pair certified to the highest standard you need will cover all of them. TripGuard on many styles helps the shoe transition seamlessly between different floor surfaces.
Are there options for cold storage and plant room environments?
Yes. The Delvin boot is designed for cold and icy conditions, with cold insulation and an outsole engineered for grip on frozen surfaces. For plant rooms where temperatures are low but ice is not a factor, waterproof boots or water-resistant safety trainers in the range will handle the damp without the bulk of a cold-weather boot.
What is ESD protection and when does it matter?
ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection reduces the buildup of static charge, which matters if you work around sensitive electronic equipment, server rooms or certain types of manufacturing. Select styles in this collection carry ESD certification. If your facility includes any of those environments, it's worth checking whether ESD-rated footwear is specified in your site's PPE policy.
How do I choose between a safety trainer and a boot?
Safety trainers are lighter and more flexible, which suits roles where you're covering distance on foot throughout the day. Boots offer more ankle support and weather protection, making them a better fit for outdoor grounds work or environments with standing water. Both carry the same toe protection and slip-resistant outsole standards. If most of your day is spent indoors and on your feet, a trainer will generally be more comfortable over a full shift.
